Aunt Connie sent in the pictures below from Saddam Hussein's former palace in Baghdad, Iraq.
Looks like he liked to keep parakeets. They are beautiful birds.
Kevin has been keeping the birds in the neighborhood
happy this winter by putting out bird seed.

We have seen a lot of nuthatches, juncos, cardinals, and
chickadees by the feeders.
Sparrows enjoying some seeds in the back yard.
An old milk jug makes a good feeder.
Some dark-eyed juncos have moved into this birdhouse
for the winter. A milk jug feeder is nearby.
A junco looks for seeds on the ground below a feeder.
A black-capped chickadee pauses for a rest.

searching for food in Seattle, Washington.
Mary P. and son Danny saw a flock of starlings feasting on

Below, male and female cardinals take turns at a feeder in the
back yard of the Corrigan home in Parma, Ohio.
This Merlin, also known as a pigeon hawk, lands close to
the Parma Corrigan's home, and walks all the way to the
back of the house in search of prey.
